On the Road to Recovery

Today was a new day. I see health in our future again...just in time for Christmas Fun! We still had a couple of fevers, tears, and grumps but a million times better. They even seemed to play more today. More smiles than tears and that's a good thing!!!

Letters from Santa!

The heroes have not had the best week so far with sickness and things are not looking up at this point. Currently, I’m up monitoring temperatures so I have a little time for a small post.

The heroes got a fun surprise in the mail today…….A letter from Santa Clause! Actually, some of Santa’s Elves said Paw Paw and Gramdma Powell had something to do with it. This brighten-up their day and they loved hearing the personalized letter.

Swine Flu Isolation

Our week long Swine Flu isolation has begun. We have all the items we need: Meds, Books, Games, DVDs, Soups, and Plenty of Fluids. Today was the first time Sterling has ever asked to be put in his crib for a nap. It was a good long 3 hour nap too. We have started Grady on Tamiflu because it's just a matter of time until he gets it. Hopefully, Josh and I will be in the clear?!?

Kangaroo Climber

The Heroes got a HUGE surprise in the mail yesterday from Granny.....a Kangaroo Climber. They have been on this thing none stop since we put it together. This morning Sterling fell backwards off the ledge. Lot and Lots of tears and I thought it scared him more than anything. Well, while putting him in his high-chair I noticed a big bump and mark down his face. Most often I would say "poor baby" right about now but it has not slowed him down for one second. They both love their Christmas Gift and I'm happy not having to say "NO" and "Get off the TABLE" a dozen times an hour.
